Summary
This study tests whether amantadine, a drug used for other conditions, can improve recovery after a stroke. Sixty adults who had an ischemic or hemorrhagic stroke will receive either amantadine or a placebo for one month. Researchers will check safety and measure recovery using questionnaires and exams over three months.
