Summary

This study tests a computer-based training program, called Approach Avoidance Training (AAT), for veterans with alcohol use disorder. The training aims to change unconscious urges to approach alcohol-related cues. Researchers will measure if adding this training to standard VA care reduces heavy drinking and improves daily life in 176 veterans.
