Summary
This study tests whether using a numbing drug (lignocaine) instead of air to inflate the breathing tube cuff can reduce sore throat, cough, and hoarseness after surgery. About 80 adults having general anesthesia will be randomly assigned to one of two groups. The goal is to find a simple, low-cost way to improve patient comfort without needing special pressure monitors.
