Summary
This study aims to create a computer program (AI) that can quickly identify sepsis by analyzing existing hospital patient records. Researchers will look at data from 10,000 adult patients who spent time in intensive care. The goal is to see if this AI tool can help doctors diagnose sepsis and septic shock sooner, which could lead to better treatment and outcomes.
