AI could help doctors spot dangerous polyps more accurately
NCT ID NCT06957015
First seen Apr 25, 2026 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 6 times
Summary
This study tests a real-time AI system that helps doctors measure the size of polyps found during colonoscopy. Accurate size is key because polyps larger than 10 mm have a higher risk of turning into cancer. About 278 adults getting a colonoscopy will join, and the AI's measurements will be compared to standard methods to see if it improves decision-making for follow-up care.
