Doctors vs. AI: can software make eye exams faster and more accurate?
NCT ID NCT07318428
Summary
This study is testing whether artificial intelligence (AI) software can help eye doctors diagnose diseases from retinal photographs. Ten eye doctors and residents will review the same set of eye scan images, first without and then with the AI's help. Researchers will measure if using the AI improves diagnostic accuracy and reduces the time it takes to read each scan.
