First seen Jan 21, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 14 times

Summary

This study looked at whether Ai Chi, a type of water exercise, can improve how shoulder muscles work in overhead athletes (like swimmers or tennis players) who have scapular dyskinesis, a condition where the shoulder blade moves abnormally. 21 athletes participated. The goal was to measure muscle activity and balance around the shoulder blade during these exercises. The study is complete, but results are not yet reported.
