Summary
This study tests a new AI tool that lets primary care doctors screen for diabetic eye disease during regular checkups. About 4,000 adults with diabetes who haven't had an eye exam in the past year will take part. The goal is to see if this approach boosts follow-up eye care and reduces racial gaps in screening.
