First seen Apr 28, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 6 times
Summary
This study tested whether using both an artificial intelligence system (ENDOAID) and a small attachment called Endocuff helps doctors find more polyps during colonoscopy compared to using AI alone. Over 1,700 adults aged 45-85 who needed a colonoscopy took part. The goal was to see if the combination improves detection of adenomas, which are growths that can turn into cancer.
