New talk therapy aims to mend Veterans' relationships

Summary

This pilot study will test a new type of talk therapy called ACT-SHARE for veterans who have both PTSD and alcohol problems and are struggling with conflict in their romantic relationships. The therapy aims to help veterans manage difficult thoughts and feelings and take actions that improve relationship health. The study will enroll 29 veterans to see if the therapy is acceptable and helpful.
