First seen Oct 01, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 31 times
Summary
This study compares two surgical methods for fixing a torn ACL, the main knee ligament. Forty adults will be randomly assigned to receive either a single-bundle or double-bundle reconstruction, both combined with an extra ligament repair. Researchers will track knee stability, function, and re-injury rates for one year after surgery to see which technique works better.
