New 3D ultrasound aims to sharpen breast cancer detection

Summary

This study tests a new 3D ultrasound imaging method to see if it can better diagnose breast masses compared to standard 2D ultrasound. About 125 adult women with a solid breast lesion needing a biopsy will participate. The goal is to improve accuracy in telling benign from malignant tumors.
