First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 28 times

Summary

This study checked if an artificial intelligence program called ZywieAI can correctly analyze heart rhythm data collected from a small wearable sensor worn on the chest for 24 hours. 153 adults wore the sensor, and the AI's findings were compared to reviews by heart specialists. The goal was to see if the AI could reliably detect heart rhythm problems like atrial fibrillation or skipped beats.
