New Weight-Loss drug zovaglutide enters final testing phase

Summary
This Phase 3 trial tests whether zovaglutide, given as a shot every 4 weeks, helps people with overweight or obesity lose weight. About 744 adults will receive either the drug or a placebo for 52 weeks. The study measures how much weight they lose and how many achieve at least 5% weight loss.
