Summary

This study tested whether injecting a small amount of zoledronic acid near orthodontic miniscrews helps them stay in place. Sixty-eight patients each received the drug on one side of the mouth and a placebo on the other. The goal was to see if the drug reduces screw loosening and inflammation over six months.
