Summary

This early-stage trial is testing whether adding an experimental drug called ziftomenib to standard leukemia treatments is safe and tolerable for patients. It focuses on adults with acute myeloid leukemia (AML) that has returned or not responded to prior therapy and has specific genetic markers (NPM1 mutation or KMT2A rearrangement). The main goal is to find the safest dose and see if the combinations show any early signs of fighting the cancer.
