New biologic ZG006 targets tough lung and neuroendocrine cancers
NCT ID NCT06283719
First seen Jun 25, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study tests a new biologic drug called ZG006 in people with advanced small cell lung cancer or neuroendocrine carcinoma. The trial has two parts: first, finding a safe dose (Phase 1), then testing how well it shrinks tumors (Phase 2). About 265 participants will receive ZG006 by IV infusion. The goal is to see if the drug is safe and can help control these hard-to-treat cancers.
What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
Active substance
ZG006 (a biologic drug given by IV infusion)
What this could lead to
If successful, this could provide a new treatment option for people with advanced small cell lung cancer or neuroendocrine tumors that have not responded to other therapies.
What could go wrong
This is an early-phase trial (Phase 1/2) with a small number of participants, so the drug may not prove effective or may cause significant side effects. It is not yet known if ZG006 will work better than existing treatments.
