First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 16, 2026 · Updated 35 times
Summary
This pilot study tests a program called Yuva Sath, where trained peer counselors provide one-on-one sessions and weekly check-ins to young people (18-29) who inject drugs in India. The goal is to see if this support helps them stay in addiction treatment and use HIV prevention services. 60 participants will be randomly assigned to receive the program or not, and researchers will measure how well it works and if participants find it helpful.
