New program aims to build 'Villages of Care' to save teens from suicide
NCT ID NCT07167615
Summary
This study is testing a 90-day support program called 'Caring Connections' designed to prevent suicide in high-risk teenagers. The program connects teens with mental health services, helps create safety plans, and builds a network of community support, often through faith-based organizations. Researchers will compare this program to standard care to see if it better reduces suicidal thoughts and behaviors and helps teens stay engaged with support services.
