Summary

This study follows 930 young people aged 12 to 25 over up to 25 years to learn how type 2 diabetes affects heart and blood vessel health. Participants include those with diabetes, overweight but not diabetic, and healthy lean individuals. They will have yearly 4-day visits with tests like heart scans, blood draws, and stress exercises. The goal is to understand early risk factors for heart disease in youth.
