Network launches to track and improve care for teens with bipolar disorder

NCT ID NCT05427123

Summary

This study aims to better understand how young people (ages 9-19) with bipolar disorder respond to treatment over one year. Researchers at four US clinics will follow 80 youth and their families, providing standard care while tracking mood, family relationships, and quality of life. The goal is to identify factors, like mood swings or inflammation, that predict who does well with treatment to help improve future care guidelines.
