Summary
This study looked at whether an intensive group therapy program for children and teens with anxiety disorders was effective. Researchers followed over 550 young people (ages 6-19) in the program, comparing their progress to those on a waitlist. They measured changes in anxiety and depression symptoms from admission through discharge and checked if improvements lasted three months later.
