New radiation therapy shows promise for inoperable liver tumors

Summary

This study tests a radiation treatment called Yttrium-90 for people with liver cancer that cannot be surgically removed. About 64 adults with one tumor (2-5 cm) or up to three small tumors will receive this targeted radiation through a blood vessel. The goal is to see how well it shrinks tumors and to track any side effects.
