NCT ID NCT07544498

First seen May 01, 2026 · Last updated Jun 12, 2026 · Updated 12 times

Summary

This study tests if a virtual reality (VR) training program can help nurses cope with work stress and prevent burnout. About 232 nurses from European hospitals will be randomly assigned to either the VR training or a waitlist group. The training uses a headset for eight sessions over ten weeks, teaching coping skills like problem-solving and emotion regulation. The goal is to see if this approach reduces stress and improves resilience and well-being.
