Summary

This study tests a new antibody drug called XmAb942 for moderate-to-severe ulcerative colitis, a chronic inflammatory bowel disease. First, healthy volunteers will receive the drug to check safety. Then, about 270 people with ulcerative colitis will get either XmAb942 or a placebo to see if it can reduce symptoms and inflammation. The goal is to find a new treatment that helps patients achieve remission.
