First seen May 05, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study tested a special MRI technique using inhaled xenon gas to measure lung function in 10 adults with pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH). Participants had four scans over 18 weeks to track changes in how the lungs take up the gas. The goal was to develop new imaging markers that could help doctors see how well PAH treatments are working.
