NCT ID NCT04580225

First seen Nov 18, 2025 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 24 times

Summary

This study compares two surgical techniques for treating wrist arthritis caused by old injuries. 170 adults with specific types of wrist collapse will be randomly assigned to have either a four-corner fusion or a three-corner fusion (which removes one small bone). The goal is to see which surgery leads to better grip strength and wrist movement over a year. Results will help surgeons choose the best option for their patients.
