Summary

This study tested whether removing sugary drinks from workplace sales and offering brief counseling could help employees lose belly fat and improve insulin sensitivity. Over 600 full-time workers who drank at least three sugary beverages per week took part. Results showed changes in waist size and insulin levels after 12 months.
