NCT ID NCT06026124

First seen Jun 25, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study looked at whether asking children with developmental language disorder to repeatedly recall new words helps them learn better than just hearing the words. Twenty-seven 4- and 5-year-olds learned made-up words during storybook reading. The goal was to see if retrieval practice boosts word learning and memory.
