Summary
This study is testing a new artificial intelligence (AI) program called Willem that reads electrocardiograms (ECGs) — the test that records your heart's electrical activity. Researchers want to see if the AI can spot dangerous heart rhythms as well as a human heart specialist. Over 5,000 people with known or suspected heart disease will have their ECGs analyzed by both the AI and a cardiologist. The goal is to learn whether AI can help detect problems earlier and possibly prevent serious events like sudden cardiac arrest.
