Summary
This study looked at whether adding carob molasses and germ to whole-wheat bread can help control blood sugar and increase antioxidants in healthy adults. Twenty volunteers aged 19-35 ate both standard and enriched bread on separate days, and their blood was tested over three hours. The goal was to see if this bread could help prevent diseases like diabetes and obesity.
