New DNA test could sharpen leukemia diagnosis

Summary
This study looks at whether a new whole genome sequencing test called ChromoSeq can find more genetic changes in people with acute myeloid leukemia (AML) or myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS) than standard tests. About 325 adults will have their blood or bone marrow tested with both methods, and doctors will compare the results. The goal is to see if ChromoSeq gives clearer information to help guide treatment decisions.
