First seen Jun 25, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study tests whether a traditional Chinese medicine formula, Wenyang Tongbi Granules, can reduce nerve pain and numbness caused by chemotherapy. 144 adults with breast or colorectal cancer who develop hand-foot tingling or pain during chemo will receive either the herbal granules or standard mecobalamin pills for 42 days. Researchers will measure symptom improvement and changes in blood markers of inflammation.
