First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 18 times

Summary

This study looks at whether using a weighted blanket can reduce nighttime leg cramps, improve sleep quality, and lower anxiety and stress in pregnant women. Fifty women in their third trimester will use the blanket for 14 days and compare results to a 14-day period without it. The goal is to find a safe, drug-free way to help expecting mothers feel better.
