Summary

This study tested a weight management program designed specifically for veterans with PTSD who are overweight or have obesity. The program adds extra support to standard PTSD care to help overcome PTSD-related challenges like stress eating or trouble staying active. 174 veterans took part to see if this tailored approach leads to better weight loss and improved PTSD symptoms compared to usual care.
