Study tests if modified surgery reduces painful Post-Meal side effects

NCT ID NCT07263269

Summary

This study compares two types of weight loss surgery to see which one leads to fewer digestive problems and a better quality of life. Researchers are following 200 adults with severe obesity for six months after their surgery. They want to know if adding a step called 'transit bipartition' to the common sleeve gastrectomy reduces uncomfortable symptoms like nausea and dizziness after eating.
