Summary
This study tested a program that connects community resources with doctor's offices to help South Asian adults with pre-diabetes lose weight. The goal was to see if this approach could help participants lose at least 5% of their body weight in 6 months, which can prevent or delay diabetes. Nearly 1,000 people took part, and the program was designed to be easy to use in other communities.
