Summary

This study tests whether adding a weight loss program (diet, exercise, and behavior changes) to standard back pain treatment helps overweight or obese people with chronic low back pain. About 252 adults will be split into two groups: one gets standard care, the other gets standard care plus weight loss support. The goal is to see if the combined approach reduces pain and improves daily life over 12 months.
