Weight loss drug tested to help men fight prostate cancer

Summary

This study is testing if a weight loss program using the drug tirzepatide is practical and safe for men to use before prostate cancer surgery. It will enroll 30 overweight or obese men with intermediate-risk prostate cancer and type 2 diabetes. The main goal is to see if participants can successfully complete the weight loss program and the scheduled surgery.
