First seen Apr 09, 2026 · Last updated Apr 28, 2026 · Updated 3 times
Summary
This study tests a wearable device called a myoelectric-computer interface (MCI) that helps stroke survivors improve arm movement. The device gives feedback on muscle activity to reduce abnormal co-contraction that limits coordination. The study will enroll 96 people who had a stroke recently or at least 6 months ago, and they will use the device at home. The goal is to see if this approach is feasible and improves arm function.
