First seen Apr 22, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 6 times

Summary

This study explores whether wearable devices like an Apple Watch and a home pulse oximeter can collect useful health data from 40 lung cancer patients during proton beam radiotherapy. Participants will wear the devices from the start of treatment until two weeks after it ends, and complete a short survey. The goal is to see if this approach is feasible for monitoring patients in real time.
