First seen Jun 27, 2026 ยท Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This pilot study will test whether lung cancer patients can use an Apple Watch, a home pulse oximeter, and a smartphone to collect health data during proton beam radiotherapy. About 40 participants will wear the devices from the start of treatment until two weeks after it ends. The goal is to see if this approach is practical and acceptable to patients.
