Can community storytelling boost breast cancer screening in rural areas?
NCT ID NCT07644702
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tests whether community health forums called WE-CARE can help more rural and low-income women get screened for breast cancer and join clinical trials. The forums include educational sessions, survivor storytelling, and patient navigation to address barriers. Researchers will enroll 50 women aged 50-74 who haven't had a mammogram in five years to see if the program is acceptable and feasible.
