First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tested whether warming the intravenous (IV) mannitol fluid before giving it to people with sudden high eye pressure can reduce pain and improve comfort. 142 adults took part, with half getting warmed mannitol and half getting standard (room temperature) mannitol. The goal was to see if a simple warming device could make the treatment less painful and more comfortable.
