NCT ID NCT07517302

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study tests whether adding an extra step (a special blade to open drainage channels) to standard cataract-and-glaucoma surgery can better lower eye pressure in people with chronic angle-closure glaucoma and cataracts. About 68 adults will be randomly assigned to one of two surgery groups and followed for a year. The goal is to see which approach controls eye pressure more safely and effectively.
