Summary
This study looks at whether eating 50 grams of walnuts every day for 24 weeks can improve brain blood flow and insulin sensitivity in adults aged 45-75 with abdominal obesity. Participants will have MRI scans and thinking tests before and after the walnut or no-walnut period. The goal is to see if walnuts can help protect brain function and appetite control in people at risk for cognitive decline.
