Summary

This study tests whether eating 50 grams of walnuts every day for 24 weeks can improve blood flow and insulin sensitivity in the brain, and boost thinking skills. Researchers will enroll 55 adults aged 45-75 with abdominal obesity, who are at higher risk for cognitive decline. Participants either eat walnuts or avoid them, and brain scans measure changes over time.
