Can walking change your brain? small study investigates link between exercise, fat loss, and brain volume
NCT ID NCT07425093
Summary
This study aimed to understand if a 12-week walking and diet program could change brain structure in overweight adults who also have headaches. Researchers compared 22 participants split into two groups: one did diet and walking, the other diet alone. They used brain scans and body measurements to see if losing body fat was linked to changes in the brain's gray and white matter.
