First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 30, 2026 · Updated 28 times

Summary

This study looks at whether giving overweight adults a specific daily step goal, based on their current weight and body fat, can help them lose weight and lower their risk for heart disease and diabetes. Researchers will track 200 adults aged 20 and older over 8 months as they walk using a pedometer. The goal is to create a simple, personalized walking prescription that works without requiring a special diet.
