New approach helps arthritis sufferers walk again with timed pain relief
NCT ID NCT05761015
Summary
This study tests a walking program designed to help people with painful hip or knee osteoarthritis become more active. Participants take common anti-inflammatory pain medication only before planned walks, combined with proper footwear and education, to reduce pain during movement while minimizing side effects. The goal is to see if this approach safely helps people walk more often and with less pain in their daily lives.
