Summary

This study tested an experimental drug called VS-01 for people with liver cirrhosis who develop a serious brain condition called hepatic encephalopathy. The goal was to see if adding VS-01 to standard care could help patients recover faster. Only 3 people were enrolled before the study was stopped early, so no clear conclusions can be drawn.
